JSCGI is a small motion graphics design and video production studio based in the South East of England, established by Jamie Shiels. JSCGI can handle projects of any scale and has the ability to grow and shrink to meet the specific demands of each project that comes through our doors.
Having a connection with what we consider to be the best freelancers out there means we can keep our costs realistic whilst making sure that the project gets the best possible creative people for the specific task at hand. Rather than struggle to get the effect with the people that are already here we make sure the right people start the project from the beginning. This approach means we can assemble a large team to work on a long-term project or simply supply a single editor on site for an evening.
Our work in Live Events has brought a broad spectrum of projects to us, from corporate shows for major blue chip companies including but not limited to Microsoft, Ericsson, Siemens, Canon, LinkedIn and BBC Showcase. As well as fashion videos for Nike, Wella, Toni & Guy and TopShop.
Also award ceremonies including Music Industry Trusts Award, Evening Standard Theatre Awards and The Fashion Awards. Alongside this, there are many parties for the rich and famous and rock and roll gigs ranging from Kasabian and Coldplay through to Miley Cyrus to name just a few.
Jamie has worked in CGI and Live Events since 1989 and has built up an extensive skill set, which enables him to create complex visuals and animations for any screen type and format. Using such a broad range of software he can create moving imagery across all disciplines, from 3D visualisation and compositing through to video editing.

Jamie has developed a passion for unusual screen formats and was the only animator to work across all four London 2012 Olympic Ceremonies where he was part of an amazing team at Crystal CG. His role for the ceremonies was as senior animator and pre-visualizer but his experience in LED and unusual formats meant he soon became key in making sure all the content that went on the Audience Pixels worked both in design and technical aspects.
Jamie ensures that at JSCGI the emphasis is on quality of product be that design, effects supervision, direction, sound design or any other areas of moving image production. It's the understanding of the technical and design that's important as they need to exist together to create the whole package.
